I love how Total War and Crusader Kings does the portraits of the characters.
My vision is to have them more in the style of Illuminated Manuscript or Gothic paintings instead of 3D renders like those games use.
version 1 of this might not keep facial features and traits generation-to-generation but that would be cool in the future. Also like having scars based on things that happen to the character. That’s more advanced than what I think I can pull off in the short run but is on the table for later.
